It was actually Aang. They literally explained this in the show. He was still willing to let humans in his library after what Zhao did but after what Aang did, he literally turned against the Avatar. He's literally part of the reason the connections to the past lives are gone

Book 1 Korra absolutely destroys Book 3 Aang, and it’s not even close. People love to talk about Aang’s 'journey,' but they ignore that by the end of Book 3, Aang was a work-in-progress. He was a master of Air and Water, sure, but he spent the series speed-running Earth and Fire just to keep his head above water. Even Toph and Zuko constantly called him out for not having a real grasp on the mechanics of those elements. He was essentially a defensive specialist playing catch-up. Then you have Book 1 Korra. She is a natural-born prodigy who had Fire, Water, and Earth mastered by 16. By the end of Book 1, she’s not only a powerhouse in those three, but she unlocks the Avatar State and Airbending on command. You are comparing a girl who was literally born to be an offensive weapon to a boy who was still learning the fundamentals of 50% of his toolkit.

@FanSince09 Blasphemy. Blockbuster was great during the time where entertainment was almost entirely physical media. You get to choose what movies you want, what games to rent, and snacks. I remember when they worked with Nintendo to add Pokémon Snapshot demos to Blockbuster. Good memories.

No. We’re not doing this. Blockbuster sucked. The mom and pop video store was cool but Blockbuster was bad, the whole process of going to blockbuster was bad. I’m a physical media guy but there isn’t anything I miss about blockbuster Video stories died out bc people were tired of Blockbuster. The late fees, never having what you want to see, scratched discs and worn out tapes.

Aang created a bunch of problems Korra had to fix > Ignored nonbender oppression → Equalists rise > Pacifism let Yakone’s kids terrorize the city > Created the 5th Nation that led to Kuvira Aang solved the war but created the mess Korra inherited.
