I asked my friend “how are you today”? He said “I’m not fine”. He has never said such to me before. I asked him to send his account details and I transferred ₦200,000 to him. See what he told me in the chat after he appreciated me. Nigeria don suffer many people.

I dated a lady throughout my time in university, from 200 level to 500 level. She celebrated her last birthday in school, and I bought her a phone. Three months after we finished school, I noticed she hardly picked my calls and was becoming distant. On one fateful Monday, I even sent her money to do her hair, only for her to get married the following Saturday. The day she was going to get married, she blocked me on all social media but forgot to block some of my friends. I ended up seeing her wedding pictures through my friend’s phone. I recognised the face of the guy. She always told me they were just friends anytime he called while we were in school. Later, I heard the guy wanted to travel to the United Kingdom, so they quickly did the wedding. Funny enough, due to United Kingdom immigration laws at the time, the guy couldn’t get sponsorship and had to return to Nigeria with my ex and their child. As for me by Gods grace, I’m now in the United Kingdom with my happy family. That’s how God works. The betrayal hurt back then.

The fastest and must assured way of knowing someone’s true character if you pay attention to detail is: 1. When money is involved 2. Living together 3. Delay or don’t give them what they want from you 4. Go silent for sometime 5. Remove money from their reach. Know this!

Procrastination kills dreams Later coffee gets cold Later people get old Later time slips away Later chances don’t stay Later dreams fade quietly Later fear feels heavier Later courage feels harder Later risks feel bigger Later excuses grow stronger Later energy runs lower Later priorities shift Later focus gets lost Later opportunities move on Later doors close silently Later regret gets louder Later “what if” never leaves Later becomes a habit Later becomes comfort Later becomes delay Later becomes never Start now. Before “later” takes everything.

Be proud of surviving what tried to break you. Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life. Keep the faith. It will all be worth it in the end. Life is simple. Be a good person, respect nature, and pray often.

“Say the truth and you shall be set free” I slept on a night shift last month and was caught and reported by my colleagues in the UK. I said the truth when investigated and they’ve sacked me and removed me from COS (Visa). Now, I’m looking for another COS I’m regretting that I said the truth. Has the truth set me free 💔? A UK young man cries out.
