@englandcricket Huge day. That last 40 mins puts us on top, Jofra brilliant. Root as usual in a different league. Well battled 🤝

@englandcricket Unreal bowling effort. Bat properly tomorrow and the game is there for us.

@RadioEmmet There has to be a rethink, absolutely no reason why the enquiry should wait until Tuesday, how archaic is our system where the result can’t be changed on the day, meaning punters get paid out and most importantly the connections have their day in the sun.

What a total disaster. One of the best-backed horses of the day loses to a horse that’s about to be disqualified, but bettors won’t see a cent. The rightful winners - the connections of Manxman - don’t get their trophy today, and the casual ITV audience is left baffled.
This was always going to happen. A big race, a massive screw-up, and yet some in the media tried to gaslight you - that this wouldn’t happen. Hukum nearly got disqualified from the King George over a year ago, but the BHA did nothing. They had more than enough time to fix a fatal flaw, but took no action and faced no pressure from the media.
The stewards and the BHA could’ve settled this today. The jockey is at fault, but the real villains are the people who wrote these absurd whip rules. Rules that were never about improving the sport, never about the jockeys, never about fairness. They were about optics—making racing look better to a crowd that doesn’t even care. And now, it’s blown up in their faces. Jockeys banned left and right for doing their job, and punters - the people who fund this sport - are losing in one of the year’s biggest betting races.
British racing is a rudderless ship. This screw-up is just one more example of the chaos dragging the sport down.
It’s obvious where British racing’s priorities are. The bookmakers are king, the “welfare optics” come second, and the people who actually matter - the trainers, owners, jockeys, and punters? Completely ignored. Don’t judge an organisation by what they say, judge them by what they do.

Very Poor from GMB with no representation from racing, around 60K “animal lovers” will be there with you on Saturday @AintreeRaces all there to appreciate the Thoroughbred for what it is, the care and love for these racehorses at yards in training is by far the safest 1/2

The campaign group Animal Rising plans to 'disrupt' the Grand National on Saturday, calling on animal lovers to 'turn up' and 'make their voices heard'. But would this protest cause more harm than good?

@England @ScotlandNT @wembleystadium The most attacking, youthful, exciting side we’ve had in years. But they have the most negative, ridged, lethargic manager at the helm holding the country back. No ambition. Abysmal. A complete Snorefest.

Our second game of #EURO2020 ends in a draw.
Well played, @ScotlandNT.
