@doggygoth@StartWaiting Ok but we go through these symptoms because of the drop of estrogen and every other hormone during our periods. Don’t trans women take the same amount of estrogen every day?
@StartWaiting Period cramps are not entirely caused by the uterus. The bleeding and some cramping is caused by the wall shedding of course, but not all of it. Cramps are caused by estrogen telling the body to tense the lower abdomen muscles to help push the blood out.
isn’t it crazy how many parts of transition we’re just not allowed to talk about bc like half of the community thinks they’re just made up and would rather say we’re lying and setting the trans community back years than believe that HRT can have effects that are under researched
