As far as players go, it’s going to require the right blend of players. Various backgrounds, various skill sets, but all with character and commitment to each other and the M on the jersey. But they don’t all have to come from Canada or out of state.
Some…yes, but not the majority.

Bob Motzko not going after Canadian juniors which was a new world for this college hockey season made little sense & it burned him. Need someone young & not necessarily connected to the program which means getting away from the 90% of the roster must be Minnesotans mentality.
