if you’re a creative, you need to teach your nervous system how to create without threat. you will not create any meaningful art if your brain thinks everything is high stakes at all times. take some time every few days to work on an idea for 20 to 50mins without any interruptions. the rules are: you cannot restart, you cannot perfect, and you cannot evaluate. your potential cannot be milked out of pressure, it can only flow from expression, repetition, consistency… that is why drafts are your best friends. not everything needs to be seen!

Being neurodivergent means that no one listens to you because you’re right too far in advance and then, when it’s finally come to fruition, the common law statute of limitations for remembering what someone else said a while ago has been surpassed so we don’t even get to be told we were right. it’s deeply unsatisfying

@EidolonNight WordCamp Orlando used to have a good mix of locals and international folk but WordCamp Miami I felt did it better!

I've always been befuddled by the fact that we hold regional WordCamps in MASSIVE cities, but attendance is only a couple thousand people from around the world. Each of these cities has hundreds or thousands of WordPress sites: creators, celebrities, musicians, restaurants, tourism, and more. Then I discovered that so much of the event marketing is done globally. We take for granted that the locals will show up. It's time for that to change. make.wordpress.org/community/2026…

If your WordPress REST API endpoint accepts an object or array param and you're calling it via GET from JS, there's a bug: the param arrives as a JSON string and WP rejects it before sanitization can decode it. Filed a core bug report + workaround core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/64926
