@AzPetrich Plenty of people are hyped and excited. Arizona is in the middle of the desert and has very few people. Maybe try going somewhere where people watch and play soccer.

@attackdogX You are drinking the wrong American beer. Plenty of small local breweries make fantastic beer in a variety of styles.

I love my country so much, so this pains me to say this, but American beer tastes like shit.

For just $0.63 cents per pork chop — this guy just showed the smartest budget hack I’ve seen in a long time. He picked up a whole boneless pork loin from the store for only $15.82 (just under 8 pounds). Then he sliced it himself into thick, beautiful pork chops — 25 of them total, each one roughly 5 ounces and about ¾ inch thick. That brings the cost down to just $0.63 cents per chop. Sometimes the cheapest way to fill your fridge and freezer with meat isn’t buying the pre-cut stuff — it’s buying the whole cut and doing a little work yourself. Have you ever bought a whole pork loin (or any big cut of meat) and cut it up at home to save money? What’s your best bulk-meat hack right now?

@jimmysoldout Rent goes up. Mortgage stays the same. Home value goes up, equity goes up. You pay rent you gain nothing. You pay mortgage you gain equity.

no shade but why would i literally ever buy a home… you still have to pay a mortgage monthly that would be the same cost as just paying rent atp. and at least with renting, the expenses for anything that goes wrong falls into the landlord instead of on you

🚨 5 STABBED at Foss High School in Tacoma, WA Multiple victims, some in critical condition, after a savage stabbing inside the school. Suspect now in custody. This is what happens when chaos is imported and soft-on-crime policies rule blue cities.

@WallStreetApes I bet you they are not selling drip coffee for $9 a cup anywhere in the world. Now that desert in a cup with 10 different customized options you just ordered might cost $9. But, you can’t really call that a cup of coffee.

Starbucks CEO defends a cup of coffee costing $9 He says the customers needs to just not think about it as a $9 cup of coffee, you’re paying for the “experience” of getting a Starbucks coffee “In some cases a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging, and then what that means is we have to make it worthwhile.” He says Starbucks customers “want to have a special experience and regardless of what your income level is, in some cases, a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging — well, this is a really affordable premium experience” How out of touch could a person possibly be…

@WallStreetApes If we're paying $20 per hour minimum wage to fast food workers, Costco necessarily has to beat that to continue to attract the worker they want.

Americans are shocked to find out you can make more at Costco drawing smiley faces on receipts than someone who went to school to work in the medical field This woman Ames $34.50 as a Costco cashier On Sunday she gets paid $48 per hour This isn’t uncommon, I found that after 5 years of full time employment people typically are making $28–$34 per hour at Costco Many full time employees are making over $70,000+ per year

Who would trade granite for butcher block? It’s paying to downgrade to a less durable countertop material.

The Mayor of Seattle is 43 years old. Never had a real job until just before being elected mayor. Her mom and dad still pay for her childcare (her husband chooses not to work either). And now she mocks the business community and those who want to keep what they earned. 🖕
