@SamRund @veupathdb @VectorBase Vectors appear to be forgotten in this otherwise excellent commentary. @VectorBase, a BRC that houses vector data, merged with @EuPathDB 8 years ago to form @VEuPathDB. Vectors are the key component in vector-borne diseases, both for disease transmission and control.

I find it irritating that some grant reviews assume that "dry" PIs can't manage "wet/dry" labs (in particular in the right context and with support) whereas "wet" PIs can apparently easily expand to "dry".
