You’re helping ensure educators are valued, you’re promoting fair compensation, and you’re combating burnout so we can do this work sustainably and with more diverse representation.

I get emailed at least once a week both externally and internally to do speaking engagements on the subject of AI in education and for the first time today someone has offered to pay me. This is both incredible to hear but also made me realise how much educators do for free.

@BryanAlexander You’re spot on that in-person events have to offer something amazing that online events can’t. I’d love to see more conferences that feel like retreats/summer camp. I went to one in 2015 that included yoga, archery, and a friendship bracelet station. Best. Conference. Ever.
