I attended & had the opportunity to speak with the organizers of the drag show/fundraiser, @miopio_ & @dstein611 of @meetashwellness. With the #LGBTQIA community under attack, remember, there's no such thing as "us & them." There is just a whole bunch of "us."

I want to talk for a moment about allyship. A 🧵 A few weeks ago, many of us were at @theviveevent in Nashville. It was the same week of the school shooting, the same week that #TheJustins and the #TennesseeThree were all over the news.

That's why it was so refreshing to see the leadership at @theviveevent and the @hlthfoundation respond to the request from @meetashwellness to address the legislation being passed in the state that will ban #DragShows and gender-affirming care with a drag show /fundraiser.

Thank you @meetashwellness for being one of the few orgs to host TWO Pepper 🌶️ events 🥰 Emma, David, Mio and team are so welcoming and thoughtful. We broke out into groups and wrote down our “asks” as we went through intros. Loved that idea, thank you!
