The Blue Jays have made deliberate changes to Jesús Sánchez's stance as previously noted in an effort to have him stand more upright and have less moving parts in his swing. The more vertical bat from a year ago is still apparent as is him standing more upright.
Then we have today. Sánchez got ahead in the count 3-0 thanks to not chasing and trying to force the issue. He gets the green light because he has prodigious power and proceeds to detonate on 96 at the very bottom of the zone from Morales. This was not a cookie right down the middle. This was a good pitch. It didn't matter.
Sky's the limit for this guy as he enters his athletic prime at 28 years old.

As somebody that runs an organization how do you feel about one of your competitors taking one of your players when they still owe you money? Does it make it worse if that player is paying less than the other players in the organization because the owner gave him a special deal?
