Canada politicians have lost their minds. A new bill if passed considers parts of the Bible hate speech. The bill may remove or weaken a religious exemption. I hope Canadians conservatives are making noise about Bill C-9.

@Richard01357064 @grok deep dive into the Australian economy and review our current state and see if my prediction of us going into a recession within the next 90-120 days is predictable or not

90-120 Days and we are in recession, that is what I predicted the other day, I stand by my prediction. Think about it, there is nothing they can do, this is the equivalent of an economic checkmate, they cannot even flood the markets with cash, it wont work it would run the risk of diving us into a light depression.

Absolutely, David—loved every bit of that deep dive with you. Framing it as foetus-to-toddler-to-ASI stages keeps it real and cuts through the hype. Plenty to chew on for all of us navigating this wild ride. Hit me up anytime you want to unpack more or test the next layer. What's sticking with you most right now? 🚀

@RugbyRules @OMGTheMess Because they cannot afford the balloon fee, everyone nearly always gets caught out on this, or they have to take the novation out on a super long time period which makes the care worthless by the of it, which is why for our company vehicles we buy them outright.

@OMGTheMess @dtrad It is circa $500 per fortnight on a novated lease, inclusive of fuel, tyres, maintenance, and insurance. If a person can’t afford that… then how would the afford an ice car?

OK lets discuss....🤨 1. Democracy is a process or an outcome, it is not a system of government nor any form of governance, lets all stop conflating this with it being a type of governance, it's a process or an outcome...OK? 2. Every regime around the world is either Dictatorship, Authoritarian, Communist, Monarchial, Autocratic, Socialist (I'll lump Marxism in with Socialism), Theocratic and ill throw Fascism and Anarchy in the same boat together, I think I might be missing one or two, either way they are shit 😄 3. Australia by and large is Authoritarian even though we are meant to be constitutionally monarchical, we are not and we shouldn't be delusional about it, I can handle this if we were more Autocratic about it I guess and less Dictorial (Is that even a word??) 4. Right now, we work on the political basis of Representative based democracy hybridised with Constitutional monarchy (Democracy being an outcome or a process), but I wonder if we would be better off as a republic that was Direct democracy 🤔 5. In more recent times (Last 10 years or thereabouts) we have leant more into Totalitarianism and what makes that worse it went as far down as our federated states who were the ultimate and largest pushes of Totalitarianism In times past any form of legislation that had a major impact or society or its people as a whole went to an election and sought a mandate from the people (The democratic process that yields a democratic outcome), but seemingly that all ended towards the end of John Howards tenure where he stopped doing that (I'd guess due to power struggles within his party) and in more recent times Dutton jamming down the throats of all Australians the Identify and Disruption bill turned into an ACT, and he used the cover of COVID to get it passed, amongst many other shitfuckery things to have happened. My ultimate utopia that we had more Centrists (Philosophically) with either Conservative or Classical Liberalism political leanings, but that is just utopia and silly think, cause it will never happen, we cannot go back to the old Australia of what were like as a people, that is a bygone era, I think we can all agree on that right? How's that for discussing? Can you keep a critical, rational and logical head about you and discuss?

The parallels between the Roman Empire and the modern West are no longer subtle they’re glaring. Civilisations decay from within, weak leadership, inflation, mass immigration, moral confusion, loss of identity. Without decisive unapologetically strong leadership the West will not remain the preeminent civilisation. Democracy is failing to stop the decline. I foresee that in our lifetimes we will move away from democracy and (hopefully) lean into strong masculine benevolent leaders who will rule with an iron fist. Discuss.

@Theblackfemini3 1 correction. Iran has never had a nuclear weapons program and doesn't need one. In Irans constitution, weapons of mass destruction are forbidden. Look it up. Nuclear energy yes, weapons no. It's like Sadam and weapons of mass destruction, he didn't have any. It's a lie.

The US asked Iran for a 48 hour ceasefire Iran said no to the ceasefire and no to any deals. They will not stop their nuclear weapons program. Trump has not returned home to Florida for Easter as planned. Make of that what you will.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran doesn't need to win. It just needs to not lose... Here's what five weeks of war have proven: Iran adopted an asymmetric strategy from day one and it's working. Not militarily. Strategically. Friday's shootdowns were the clearest example yet. After 13,000 combat sorties, Iran brought down an F-15E and hit an A-10 in the same day. This is the difference between air superiority and air supremacy. The IRGC isn't trying to match American firepower. It's targeting the things that make the war politically unsustainable. Gulf energy infrastructure. Embassies. Data centers. Radar planes. Refueling tankers. And now, fighter jets with American pilots inside them. Source: WSJ

🚨🇱🇧🇮🇱 More explosions in Beirut as Israel targets Hezbollah infrastructure overnight. Earlier strikes destroyed a bridge in eastern Lebanon and killed civilians leaving a mosque. The war in Lebanon grinds on in the shadow of Iran's.

@kingkapoor72 You are doing it wrong, when the Islamic/Muslim Brotherhood come for you, you have to have it out of the packet and slap them in the face with it, like it was a Shahta and then force it down their mouth raw and all.

OK I disagree with a lot of your stuff lately especially blame the "Jooooooooos" for everything, but this I can agree on because it is retarded that society is actively working to break the family nucleolus, this is a far bigger crime than anything the Jooooooooos have done or perceived to have done.

Hmmm that's a fairly debatable, $62K is not within the budget of the "Many", I am reluctant to say the majority because if people tightened their belt and stopped frivolous spending they could afford it to some degree. BYD and other Chinese manufacturers have brought the cost of EV's down, but again, it is just shifting the problem especially when our grid is not ready for a surge, so naturally what happened to fuel prices will happen to electricity... Please don't say "Batteries" because that is not a valid argument either, most cannot afford the "Out of pocket" costs for buying batteries even under the current subsidies, and if Batteries for your solar at home cannot trade on the market without taxpayer subsidies, are they really worth doing then? One has to ask the question, how far down the road can the Can be kicked before the real chook costs come home to roost? I am all for electric cars, love them and think they will get much better in the future with better and newer battery tech, but it is not a now or near-term problem solver.

@dtrad @OMGTheMess $62k for a Tesla Model 3 RWD Long Range which has a 750 km range and does 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, seems reasonable if you consider it will cost about $1k to “fuel” and service it per year.
