Hope JK finds some semblance of form on the Hawks. The potential was there, the faults were hard to ignore. Ultimately, what he wanted to become didn't fit with what the team wanted him to be. I'm not quite sure his desire to be the focal point will be realized on the Hawks due to Jalen Johnson. But it's a fresh start and a fresh environment. Sometimes, that's all a person needs coming from a difficult situation.

@ThePackageJG I love Kuminga as a talent, and long have, but it's really apparent Jimmy has obviated his role and swapping him out for a shooter (especially one as good as Cam Johnson) would be a significantly ceiling-raising connective move.

After watching this team more, I’ve changed my stance on the player archetypes needed to maximize this Steph/Jimmy/Dray core. Originally I thought it should be 2-Way Perimeter Guard 2-Way Interior Forward 2-Way Center Flip the Interior Forward for a perimeter forward.

I mean, Perth-United, just unreal. One of the best shot making displays I’ve ever seen over a full game. Obviously an awesome set at the end from Vickerman and Staff. Goulding incredible again, Clark unreal. Just genuinely, one of the best games of basketball you will ever see.

Fun Fact: I’ve watched 4 titles, 6 Finals appearances, countless playoff wins, the rise of a Generational MVP in Steph and the building of a Dynasty, and I didn’t get to root for a superstar whistle until Jimmy Butler joined this team two wins ago.
