My bill (HB2570) passed out of committee unanimously yesterday. It probibits insurance companies from setting a time limit for paying for anesthesia services during surgery. Anthem tried to do this last year. It was combined with HB1945(Hruza).

I just filed HB3529 to make June 28 (wedding date), “Eliot and Muriel Battle Day” to honor the legacy of two Columbia heroes.

No more languishing in County Jail. I just filed HB2952 which requires mental health evaluations to occur within 45 days and transfer and treatment to occur within another 45 days.

Based on the events in recent weeks surrounding the local dog breeding facility, I am planning on filing legislation requiring regular and thorough inspections of all classifications of dog breeding facilities.
