@duckduckbruce_ Loyalty, club feel etc. I do think he’s been able to get a lot out of the squad due to them becoming very close and familiar over the years, but the prospects of the country should come before Tony Ralston’s feelings

Does Clarke know he doesn't have to call up Ralston, Hanley and Hirst for every squad

@JackSoutar04 Ralston has kompromat on Clarke so gets called up regardless, but SC surely knows he's not even a L1 defender, so Patterson/Hickey get in too. Or it's that Patterson/Hickey are made of biscuits and will inevitably get injured at some point, and Ralston is somehow 3rd choice

My only bugbear with this squad is the serious lack of pace. Too many of the strikers alike. Doak is a great out ball but if he gets injured we are in trouble.
