@fraserenys Bc they had no idea where to take the story so they made crap up and added her to be their grand daughter. Unfortunately this took up way too much time and took screen time away from others. Poor fergus was barely in his last episode

no hate to the child obviously, but Why is season 8 all about some random little girl like.. why does she get more screentime than claire atp 🫩 this season's storyline has been so insufferable

@bipambeesly the way the only intimate scene they've given marsali and fergus in the entire show is in the episode they kill him off... just to twist the knife for the viewers with their domestic bliss

the chemistry of marsali and fergus has always been marvelous and precious. they wasted time trying to make bree and roger feel romantic when that couple has just never sell anything at all. so little fersali scenes, so many years wasted for nothing!

@ladywestcliffs I think the point was that the adoptive mother already loved Faith so when she found out that Claire left the country she chose to keep Faith instead of searching further to find out where Claire/Jamie went.

the faith explanation is so weak, you're telling me they managed to track claire and jamie in north carolina but for decades faith's adoptive mother couldn't even have sent word to the frasers in scotland??

@ducks2286 @Daylightttdream Haha. I personally love the storyline for Faith what I hated about was not letting her find her family. Like why did she have to be murdered couldn’t she have just gotten sick everything is always so tragic. I’m devastated that Fergus is gone.

Okay now I’m thinking.. he healed Claire so why didn’t he just give her faith

@js01dt @Daylightttdream And even if he did heal her after she held the baby why not tell her the baby was alive after he healed her. End of the day this is all made up by the writers and not part of the book. They even changed who died which I’m more upset about than this faith crap

@ducks2286 @Daylightttdream You have to go watch it again, they just showed it out of order when she’s talking to Jamie but he definitely healed her after all that. I’m gonna watch it again too.

@js01dt @Daylightttdream Okay Louise shows up and takes the baby and gives it back to mother. Claire was fine and healed at that point

@js01dt @Daylightttdream She was completely fine when Louise showed up. She didn’t hold the baby until after master Raymond came and healed her. He helped her prior to her holding the baby and singing the song

@ducks2286 @Daylightttdream He healed her after they took the baby away. Because she was gradually getting more sick because they left a piece of the after birth inside of her so he had time to take the baby to the other lady.

@Daylightttdream None of this made sense. Who’s in the grave? Was Mother Hildegard in on it? Did Raymond dig up Faith? What was his motivation to do ANY of this? How did he hear the song? She sang it while holding a DEAD baby! He wasn’t there until much later

@js01dt @Daylightttdream She held the baby though after all this. He healed her then she held the baby. The baby was dead for hours up til this point.

@Daylightttdream I think this scene is before he heals Claire, hence why he said the mother is sick. Then, after he healed her he tried going into hiding but was captured and then banished before being able to tell Claire anything.

@js01dt @hailey_beaupre She sees master Raymond at the end with the Comte why didn’t he say anything to her about this baby? Why didn’t lace lady do what she was told? Why even take the baby after he healed her, the nuns could of watched the baby

@hailey_beaupre I mean she had no reason to go check because she held a dead baby whether it was hers or someone else’s. I honestly feel like the grandmother really fell in love with Faith and waited as long as possible before going to find Claire & that’s why they were already gone.

I’m confused bc Claire was there for MONTHS while Jamie was in prison… she couldn’t go check??

@Daylightttdream Yep. I know so many people hate the storyline for Faith that the writers did but I have to say I absolutely love it and I love how they brought in Fanny and just kind of made that full circle. Just my opinion though.

So the person who made Claire’s lace veil is the one who raised Faith and the grandmother to fanny and Jane. #outlander

I was begging for a Fergus sequel because he is the best…and you KILL HIM?! WHAT was the reason?! Jamie’s only real son and this is how it ends?! He doesn’t even die in the books 😭 Day officially ruined. I’m so sad #Outlander
