‘Michael’ isn’t a documentary. Rather it’s a "concert biopic". If you judge it that way, it’s wildly entertaining. Critics wanted a full exposé but the film chose to celebrate his artistry. Jaafar Jackson absolutely delivers. 4/5

Survivor is trying too much the same way it did in Season 40. Maybe fans just want the good old fashioned Survivor with a cast that knows how to truly play. It doesn't need all these unnecessary novelty stuff. What an anticlimactic edit for Christian. #Survivor

Carey Mulligan is undeniably great, but in a show like Beef that lives in that awkward space between dark and absurd, Ali Wong just feels more in sync with the tone. She makes those sudden pivots land without feeling jarring. #Beef

Finally an episode worthy of Season 50. From Ozzy trying to play social, to Mother Cirie reminding Ozzy & everyone how it’s actually done. Rizo fanboying, Devens keeping things chaotic, and Dee side-eyeing Coach, Emily cringeing at Rizo overplaying the fan persona. #Survivor

@dudutsbubuts @HBO Richard Jenkins is an american treasure as an actor as far as I'm concerned. Joy Sunday did a great job as well. This show was best when it was played as a whodunit with these actors. The finale was extremely underwhelming. The relationship between the two leads was unrealistic.

DTF St. Louis isn’t for everyone.. and it doesn’t try to be. Slow, nuanced, and very deliberate, but the ensemble cast makes it worth it with performances that quietly hit. @HBO
