Job gains have "slowed significantly" this year 4. Higher tariffs are resulting in "higher overall inflation" 5. Fed members had "strongly different views" on the upcoming December Fed meeting 6. Another Fed rate cut in December is "far from assured" There is clearly a growing divide at the Fed.

I am devastated to hear of the tragic death of the young and vibrant Charlie Kirk. He debated anyone forcefully but respectfully. He is a template to how we should approach disagreements. We should talk them out. Senseless violence is the opposite of Charlie's approach. It is wrong and leads to a terrible cycle if not snuffed out. I pray for Charlie, his supporters and for our great friend America at in these tough times.
