I never feel bad about imperfect tempo when I’m recording. Mostly because there are hundreds of examples of great songs that have tempo fluctuations. A favorite is “Caught Up in You” by .38 Special. It’s all over the place. Still rad. Modern music is too “perfect” and boring.
