What "era" are you in right now?

Today is my Baby's birthday. This kid has been a blessing from day 1, When I had her, Loved ones were concerned about how I'd manage to care for a baby and her special needs older brother who needed 24/7 care, But God had it all taken care of. Coz from the beginning, Grace was ultra independent, She refused to be breast fed - she hated it, So we fed her breast milk in a bottle for 6 months, At some point she learned to feed herself and it's been smooth sailing from there. She cooks her own meals- and mine 😜, She banned me from assisting her with homework and studying because ALLEGEDLY, I once taught her the wrong accounting formulas, But she caught it before submitting and rewrote everything, From then I am not trusted academically, 🤣 She manages her own diary- all I have to do is facilitate the pick ups and drop offs. She's an extrovert of note and my life revolves around her activities both school related and the ones she organises herself, I complain daily to Samke about this!😅 The girl is booked and busy. Her biggest problems are clashes in her diary, She'll have choir, hockey, newspaper club, All on the same day, And she'll say OMG, How am I going to do this???? As if someone signed up on her behalf! 😂 To say I am proud of her is an understatement, She's also acing academics, I had to stop promising her money for every subject passed because it always left me dead broke, Her rich uncles (the culprits are here, you know yourselves😂 ) Have taken over that role, But I think they too regret promising her rewards for good grades, Anyway- I digress... Happy birthday to my baby. Uligugu lami.

I’ll never understand people who don't like being at home. for me there's nothing better than being in my house, with my bed, my things, my space, and just me.

I disagree. It is possible for someone to feel really disappointed about how bad things are going in their life, But at the same time be extremely happy for their friends and siblings who seems to have better luck, With no resentment at all. There are people, Who don't compare their circumstances to others, People who don't feel/think in comparison, And people who are not in "competition". This is not to say that people who feel some type of way when others succeed and they don't, Are bad people, They are not. But it's not true that everyone looks at their desperate circumstances in comparison with how others are faring. Some people are just inward focused. Others focus only externally, And some focus on both. We are all wired differently.
