After Jasper's passing, my husband and I knew quickly that Dumpling needed a kitty companion. While nobody could ever replace Jasper, we have found a special boy who is helping us all through our grief.

I likely won't be posting for awhile. We lost Jasper last night out of nowhere. My baby is gone and I don't know why yet. I know a lot of you loved him. We did too. We are grieving, Dumpling is grieving. I will come back to posting eventually but nothing feels right right now.

I’m happy to report that the Princess is feeling much better after our vet gave her some fluids and anti-nausea meds. After a bath she fell fast asleep on the microfleece blanket. A long day for both of us, but I’m so glad she just has an expensive tummy ache and nothing serious.

We did discuss if we were crazy to do this when most people are actively trying to keep their cats off the counters. But clearly we care more about Eevee's happiness and comfort then any society norm 🤷♀️ and I knew cat twitter would understand!

You see, the kitchen window gets the best sun, but my leggies don't jump quite high enough to get up on the counters anymore. So hooms bought and put together this cat tree specially so I can climb up into the window! Spoilt? Me? Never 😹 💚Eevee
