3 families, 8 bairns, their favourite restaurant closed... Worry not; with a bit of ingenuity, something resembling Maccy D's comes to Soul Garden (and with names on the boxes and delivered to their doors, even the most incredulous bairn scoffed it without too many questions! 😄)

Tonight, it's mac 'n' cheese, with or without accompanying broccoli or garlic bread. ❤🍽

... 27-31 people in Linlathen, Mid, Fintry and Whitfield who are getting a free hot meal made for them twice a week. We've been told that what we do for the families we work with makes a big difference; that's all we need to know, and we'll keep doing it as long as we're able. 👍

Today I got asked, for the second time in a week, if our cafe was open yet. 😄 'Fraid not! While it's good to be missed, we won't be opening up again while all this is still going on. Apart from anything, the builders had to down tools three-quarters of the way through... (cont.)

It's great to see ordinary folk and local businesses helping people out at this time. Dundee is really together in its community drive during this crisis. From Lochee to the Ferry, Whitfield to the Hulltoon, everybody's rocking up to do their bit. So proud to be Dundonian! ❤

As you'll know, the Community Kitchen is closed just now with building work going on at Signpost. Our intention was to re-open on Monday 30 March, but obviously that might not be the case now. Our priority is your safety, and we will update you when more information is available.

Do what you can, when you can, if you can... Print a few of these off and drop in letterboxes in your street. #community

assuming the work goes as expected, we'll be opening again on Monday 30 March. And because we know you can't get enough of us 😄 we'll be back again the very next day, Tuesday 31st. So we're dropping Thursdays and starting Tuesdays, and we hope you'll enjoy the change! ❤

🎵 Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-changes! 🎶 It's a busy time coming up for Soul Garden! We've got new, better toilets getting put in at Signpost, but it does mean the kitchen will have to be closed while the building works are going on. 🙁 We're no awa tae bide awa though; (continued...)
