For me, JD's lower engagement isn't simply because they have fewer projects. Even during slow periods, a fandom can stay active if fans have positive content to enjoy and share. Simple interactions between JD, updates from events, fan interactions or even older moments can keep our timeline alive. What I think hurts engagement more is our current fandom environment. There's constant fighting over who the real and fake fans are, rumors that are often spread by DJs themselves (which could easily be avoided by not posting them here) and endless debates about whose opinions are right or wrong and whenever fans genuinely try to hype JD, some people immediately police every caption, questioning whether it's shading someone or pushing a "delusional" theory. Because of that, many fans (including myself) become hesitant to post at all. Instead of enjoying the content, they're worried about being criticized or having our words twisted. When a fandom reaches the point where fans feel they have to overthink every post, participation naturally drops. If you notice,if fewer account made edits, fewer discussions happen and fewer people join trends. So ask ourselves why JD engagement is low. In my opinion, I repeat, this is only my opinion (don't raise your eyebrows) The issue isn't just the lack of work or JD not being active in socmed, it's also the atmosphere within the fandom that discourages people from freely supporting JD.
