This is what the future of the Chagos Islands could look like. A sustainable, thriving community, built by the Chagossian people in their own homeland. They must be allowed to return as British citizens. That future must not be taken from them. 🇬🇧🇮🇴

Once again, while the British public is kept in the dark, UK officials are in Mauritius advancing Labour’s deeply controversial plan to hand over YOUR British territory to a country that has no claim to it. A delegation led by FCDO negotiator Robbie Bulloch, alongside Paul Brummell, Peter Candler, and Paul McKell, has met the Mauritian Prime Minister to push the #Chagos surrender forward behind closed doors. No transparency. No accountability. Serious questions about whose interests are REALLY being served. How can anyone justify denying the Chagossian people their right to self-determination AGAIN? It’s 2026, folks. This should never be happening. Thanks to you, our PAC supporters, we have already taken legal action and led the campaign to stop this — and we will not back down now. The Chagossian people must have self-determination. They overwhelmingly want the right to return to their islands as British citizens. The British public deserves the truth. #SaveChagos

Deaths from cold are higher than deaths from heat not only in the U.K. 👇 But globally.* But the net zero fanatics would much rather you didn’t know that. * studies estimate that cold-related deaths outnumber heat-related deaths by roughly 9:1. Roughly 5 million annual deaths (about 8.5% of total deaths) are linked to cold, while approximately 489,000 (0.9%) are linked to heat. Source sciencedirect.com/science/articl….
Toby Young@toadmeister

Tens of thousands more die of cold than heat in the UK each year, but the ONS stopped publishing the stats in 2022. Now the UKHSA does it, but hey presto, cold deaths suddenly equal heat deaths, says Paul Homewood. dailysceptic.org/2026/04/22/the…

So I’ve just checked Hansard. And it’s clear that Starmer also misquoted Robbins. He took half a quote to make it look like Robbins had denied pressure had been brought to bear. Where the full quote actually says the opposite.

Mail on Sunday Columnist Dan Hodges says Sir Keir Starmer used parts of quotes from Olly Robbins' testimony to support his claim that he did not mislead Parliament. However, Hodges suggests these were taken out of context and could be 'a big problem' for the Prime Minister.

They think we are stupid. The Iran war will become the excuse for every failed Labour policy so let’s just fix Rachel’s post from this morning. War is NOT responsible for … ▪️Employer National Insurance increases raising hiring costs ▪️Frozen tax thresholds dragging more people into higher tax bands ▪️Minimum wage rises increasing business operating costs ▪️Higher public sector pay settlements adding fiscal pressure ▪️Regulatory and net zero compliance costs passed into bills ▪️Business costs feeding through into higher consumer prices ▪️”Stealth tax” effect from inflation + frozen allowances ▪️Increased borrowing pushing up long-term tax risk She could easily bring prices down and has chosen not to 🤡

Sophy Ridge just put Pat McFadden through the wringer in one of the most excruciating interviews you’ll see this year. Ridge hammered him repeatedly: Did Keir Starmer pressure top civil servant Sir Olly Robbins to secure an ambassadorship for his former No.10 communications chief Matthew Doyle, the same Matthew Doyle recently made a peer, then suspended from Labour over links to a paedophile councillor? McFadden squirmed, deflected, and waffled like a pro. Sophy: “You know you’re doing the interview today, you must have asked them. Did it happen?” McFadden dodges. Sophy, clearly frustrated: “I’m really sorry, I’m normally quite forgiving when people say ‘I don’t know’… but in this situation, when it was yesterday morning, you must have asked the question… or if you didn’t ask because you wanted to come in here and say ‘I don’t know’, I don’t accept that.” She presses again: “So what did you do? Did you ask No.10 what happened?” More waffle from McFadden about Doyle not being “right for the post”. Sophy, visibly exasperated, cuts in: “Did you ask the question?” McFadden: “What question?” 😩 Sophy repeats it slowly, farcically: “Did you ask No.10 if it’s true Keir Starmer asked for an ambassadorship for Matthew Doyle? Did you ask that question?” He still doesn’t answer directly. Sophy: “Did you ask the question? It’s a really simple question.” Eventually, he admits he didn’t ask whether Starmer made the request. Sophy: So you didn’t ask… because you wanted to come on here and say you don’t know anything about it? This was pure political evasion masterclass, or should we say, masterclass in getting absolutely roasted on live TV. Starmer’s government in full damage control mode over claims No.10 tried to hustle a plum diplomatic post for Doyle while telling Robbins to keep it secret from the Foreign Secretary. Ouch. Watch the clip and feel the second-hand embarrassment.

Morgan McSweeney allegedly told the Home Office “Just fucking approve it” when pushing through Peter Mandelson’s appointment. This is the same McSweeney who was director of Labour Together and worked hand-in-hand with Starmer on their Digital ID agenda. The whole thing stinks.

I have listened to Sir Olly Robbins evidence for last hour and forty minutes and am seeing the very best of the civil service. I am left incredulous that the decision was made to fire him. Has there been a more egregious and shameful decision by a political master desperate to save his own skin?

This Beatles clip of “Revolution” is pure proof of why they’re untouchable 🔥❤️ John Lennon’s gritty vocals, that thunderous guitar, and the raw energy exploding off the screen — The Fab Four at their absolute peak. Clips like this hit you right in the soul and remind you just how good they really were. Still the greatest band of all time. #TheBeatles

“It’s astonishing neither told the Prime Minister. He’s either lying to us or he’s lost control of his office to an extent he is unfit to govern. “From the outset of the Mandelson scandal, Starmer’s first instinct has been to evade, deflect and cover up. Enough is enough. The country deserves so much better. Starmer should resign.” Agree with Kemi Badenoch
