“Allegations of mismanagement” were made up by this account’s puppeteer, the failed mayor @lennycurry, after JEA fired him from his lobbying contract. And now he’s dragging the whole Jacksonville GOP into his personal obsession with selling JEA.
Duval War Room@DuvalWarRoom

With allegations of mismanagement and a looming budget shortfall: Donna Deegan continues to fight against holding JEA accountable. JEA’s CEO makes over $700,000 while Duval County residents face another JEA rate hike. Donna Deegan: putting her friends first and taxpayers last. news4jax.com/news/local/202…

Lenny Curry was in bed with Aaron Zahn who’s in prison for trying to sell JEA. How did Curry even get a contract with JEA after that?
Alex Holmes@Jax_Watchdog

@duval_doge Deegan’s in bed with the CEO! You could tell that at a Press conference when Deegan tried to tell the CEO how to respond! 😂

Here’s a better question than any you would ask: why would the former mayor who pushed the JEA sale and Aaron Zahn, leading to a historic scandal that people went to jail for, ever get a lobbying contract with JEA? And why are you and others carrying his water?
Rory Diamond@RoryDiamond

Vickey Cavey refused to answer whether Mayor Deegan or her staff tried to influence contracts at JEA They went all out to not answer. Even said all of JEA is under criminal investigation?! This all seems very familiar. Jax corruption continues.

“The version that they gave last week obscured the fact that there is an entire top half to this message that we are not seeing,” Monroe said. “And they haven’t provided us any specific statutory reason why that stuff is being held back.”

New questions are being raised about newly released public records tied to Jacksonville City Council President Kevin Carrico and a state investigation into the attempted appointment of his boss to the JEA board. news4jax.com/news/local/202…

The Local Option Gas Tax was passed by (checks notes) City Council and Mayor Lenny Curry 2 years before Donna was elected. Thank you for drawing attention to one of Lenny’s big tax hikes! firstcoastnews.com/article/money/…
Rory Diamond@RoryDiamond

No. 11. The NaVI project is a massive boondoggle and the money should be diverted to roads and infrastructure. Thats more of your gas tax wasted by Donna and JTA. Savings from No.’s 1-11: $735,590,000. #SaveOurHomes

The Republicans have zero respect for the people. When the people VOTE no, Byron believes he knows better! Same with redrawing our congressional maps, the people VOTE no, the Republicans say who cares what the people want. These guys have got to go! floridapolitics.com/archives/80189…

Psst Rory, you want to delete this one. Your own auditors explained it was nonsense at your own Duval DOGE board on February 3. You just didn’t hear it because you flaked out and skipped the meeting. And then didn’t read the report for 4 months. Oops! jaxtoday.org/2026/02/03/flo…

No. 10. $7.5 million of YOUR money went for ONE MILE of sidewalk. 8 times the FDOT projection. Donna’s waste is EVERYWHERE! Savings from No.’s 1-10: $335,590,000. #SaveOurHomes

⚠️ WARNING- The property tax amendment disclaimer This constitutional amendment may cause increased dependence on Tallahassee, reduced local independence, replacement fees and assessments, higher borrowing costs, altered housing incentives, expanded lobbying activity, and, in certain communities, financial distress. Not effective for renters. Renters may continue experiencing rising housing costs without receiving any advertised tax relief. Effects may last longer than four hours. Some effects may persist for generations. Before voting, ask your Governor whether county-by-county and city-by-city financial modeling is right for you.

That’s one-time money and you know it. To make up for this tax cut you’d need to cut $300 million in recurring spending. What are you going to gut? Fire? Police? Roads? Park maintenance? Permitting? It’s easy to make decisions with the people’s money from your oceanfront mansion.
Rory Diamond@RoryDiamond

And, we’re back. No. 8: We don’t need new downtown parks that no one wants. We barely take care of the parks we have. Stop catering to downtown developers! Savings from No.’s 1-8: $144,090,000. #SaveOurHomes
