@MavsFilmRoom If Mikel was in a wheelchair for three years, I’m still taking him. He is so much better than the others in that range. People forget he was a top 5 pick before his injury.

@1kalogne @NationMffl I mean he is a great shooter, can go downhill and can play with Kyrie but mavs will have to start drafting for the long run (to replace Kyrie in like 2-3 yr) and I dont think burries is as much of a true PG as philon, brown, etc

JUST IN: Kon Knueppel’s odds to win Rookie of the Year have tanked after shooting only 16% in last night’s play-in game. Cooper Flagg is now expected to win ROTY. This is insane and unfair… not just because of the reaction to one game, but because the play-in is absolutely NOT supposed to count for or against Kon Knueppel. However, this year, votes are supposed to already be in, but due to the league reviewing Luka’s award eligibility, they asked the media to delay their votes a couple of days. Despite the delay, Rookie of the Year is still strictly a regular season award, but traders are predicting that, since the voters are human, they’ll use Kon’s recent performance against him, even though it shouldn’t. One of the craziest ROTY races of all-time.

@All_Things_Mavs Burries doesnt sit right with me because we dont have a guaranteed FRP until 2031. Imo, he isnt the guy to help win us big games for a long duration. He doesnt have enough tools. He would fit well with a team like the warriors but not here.

I think Burries would be a great addition. And he’d fit SO well with Kyrie. I do think he has the most question marks among those top guards though. Can he really play point? If he can’t run the point, what is he long term? Does he just have a high floor and mid ceiling?
