@gabagoolgretzky i think its fair to say that americans certainly have their own versions of these foods that differ from the versions in their country of origin. but the whole point is multiculturalism is "our culture". american food to me is just westernized versions of other cultures dishes.

@gabagoolgretzky even if it was invented in america, the traditions and culture used to make the creole food originate from african culture. and like you said with bbq, its mixed with native american culture- so thats applicable.

@dvaplier There is tons of american food if you look at our different regions. Gumbo for example was invented in 18th century Louisiana, and low country seafood and crawfish boils have similar origins. Like the original video - BBQ is an invention that mixed native american taio cooking…
