Say hello to GlideOS (and our CEO, @dvdsgl!) GlideOS is an all-new version of Glide, built for professionals looking to deploy custom AI solutions at work. GlideOS is an even more powerful tool for turning operational spreadsheets into apps, thanks to advancements in AI. We’ve introduced an AI-powered technique we call ‘SheetSense’, which can analyze your spreadsheet’s formulas, macros, charts, visuals and more, and turn it into software with no further context or prompting required. Just upload a spreadsheet (the bigger the better) and watch the magic happen. GlideOS is also exceedingly fast. It takes, on average, 4m 56s to build an app, so users can ship new software fast, often, and securely. Adding features, modifying the design, and otherwise iterating on the software you built is even faster. What used to take you a month or more to build with no-code tools now takes an hour or less with GlideOS. The best software in the world is built by the people closest to the problems. The next great piece of software deployed at your company could be built by you and your team... so ask yourself this: “What is my hair-on-fire problem at work?” Then come solve it with GlideOS. Sign up for free at glideapps.com/new

@marty_kausas It really depends on your main use cases, but I use the Claude code iMessage connector and do every almost everything from iMessage.

Also, you can lift a styrofoam instant ramen bowl directly in front of your face, to drink the last kernels of half-rehydrated corn, without obstructing the view!

My wife refuses to watch scary movies, and I have a toddler and a baby in a small home, so once a week, late at night, I put on my Vision Pro and watch terrifying movies, alone, in the dark. It's perfection.

Just Shipped: Flue 1.0 Beta Flue is the TypeScript framework for building the next generation of agents, designed around an open agent harness with zero LLM lock-in. It’s like Astro, for agents. Flue 1.0 has been redesigned around three core primitives: 🔁 Workflows — structured automations designed for background work, where your code drives the agent from start to finish. 🧭 Agents (New!) — autonomous, stateful loops where the model drives itself to complete a given task. 📡 Channels (New!) — connect agents to Slack, GitHub, Linear, Discord, Teams, and more. Flue handles the boilerplate for you. Everything shares the same durable foundation, powered internally by Pi, Vite, and Durable Streams. Deploy anywhere, use any LLM, and recover running agents across restarts and downtime. We’ve talked to a lot of teams building agents, and keep hearing the same thing: getting to production is hard work. We built Flue to help change that. Flue 1.0 Beta is available today. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

🔩 Instruments! Un-vibe your vibecode when you want careful control, or need confidence that a feature *really* works. One of my favorite concepts we're exploring in GlideOS.

When you add something to your app over here, does it break something over there? This is one purpose of 'testing' in software development. In GlideOS, the agent has agency to test the app independently. The agent will scan the screen, understand what your app does and how to use it, and then test the various functions on its own. With reliable, visual testing built into GlideOS, you can have more trust in your builds. Watch @dvdsgl ask GlideOS to run multiple tests on his app in real-time in the clip.

Data & calculation have always been at the center of our thinking about software development at Glide. That philosophy holds true in GlideOS. Watch @dvdsgl work in split view to navigate and work with the layout and the data of an app simultaneously in GlideOS.

I think you achieve high standards for clarity with a kind of internal feedback loop in your own brain where you can constantly switch between author and naive reader of your own prose. Once you have high standards, things are very easy, but arriving at the high standards is all the work.

In 1543, humanity discovered it was not the center of the physical universe. Today we’re discovering that we’re also not the center of the intelligent universe.
