Somehow, at some point in the last few years it has become acceptable to publicly mock trans people. This isn’t about vulnerable women’s spaces, or women’s sport, it’s about delighting in declaring your disgust for a tiny minority of other humans and it has to stop.

The strange shape of Liberal England, 2024 edition. Constituencies with more Lib Dem vs more Labour votes (ignoring other parties) are still largely divided by Watling Street (modern day A2/A5), a Roman road built almost 2000 years ago that divided Wessex and the Danelaw in 886AD

Many trans people are concerned and confused about what last week’s Supreme Court ruling. The UK Government must provide clear guidance to preserve the rights and dignity of all – including trans people.

@PrideInLabour I’m a 65-year old CIS woman. Supported Labour all my life. But if they hang trans people out to dry, as they appear to be doing, then I’m sorry but that’s my membership card in the bin. @alancampbellmp

Just a reminder that this was done in just over two days WITHOUT a billionaire bankrolling the movement. We did this through solidarity and community. Say what you want about LGBTQIA+ people, but we know how to organise.

1000s of people out in Parliament Square to protest the Supreme Courts Decision this week 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🚩 Contrast this to the 100 or so ‘Gender Criticals’ many, the same old faces outside SC. It really begs the question: what IS the mood in Britain? 🇬🇧🏳️‍⚧️ #TransRightsAreHumanRights

@NlandPark There are a number of poetry / spoken word groups in the area. Next year it would be great if you could ask them to provide poems on a theme ie real people, not AI.
