Another way to look at at is : when was punarvasu 4th paada? Navami is a 24-hour patch. Punarvasu 4th paada (=karkaataka rashi) will be ~6hour patch. Narrow == More accurate 🙂

We celebrated Ramanavami yesterday (Thursday 26/3/2026). Rāma-janma happened at noon. So Rāma janma pooja is done at noon of navami. That was yesterday. Today (Friday 27/03/2026) navami tithi ended at 10:00 in morning. It is Dashami now.

I don’t want to hurt anyone’s sentiments, but as a Hindu myself, I feel that idols of Laxman Ji, Sita Mata, and Hanuman Ji should be installed alongside Ram Ji. It feels incomplete and a bit unsettling to see Ram Ji’s idol alone.

No one should have any objection to Madhavi Latha’s worship. But the question is whether performing it loudly inside a prayer room is appropriate. Several Muslim women appeared uncomfortable.

@hsraghav @hamsanandi @avyAjabandhu It seems to be quite old and popular. My friend @Yogendra_RN used to recite this. It has two different meanings im kannada and sanskrit. ಅಳಿ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಹಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ಸುತ್ತೆ. ಗಹೇऽಳಿ,ಭಾವಕೇऽಳಿ ಅಂತ ಓದಬೇಕು ಅಂತ ಕಾಣುತ್ತೆ.
ತಂಗೀ ತಮ್ಮನ ಸಾಹಸಂ ~ तं गीतं, मनसा हसं। ಅಂತೇನೋ ನೆನಪು. ಪೂರ್ಣಾರ್ಥ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.

I think - Given the right conditions, it won't even take 2minutes for the parliament /central govt to usurp BITS and declare it as another IIT, and enforce reservations...
