@msnaxi Idk,maybe it hit you more because there’s something personal there, like u said The whole point of the film is kinda built on quiet moments, unspoken feelings, and that slow almost invisible sadness creeping in ,it definitely has its own audience

@dwillfindher And I think it was generally made as a whole reminiscing experience like recalling a memory but again, a very personal one. I wish i could express everything but that would take hours

@msnaxi He knows how to make you feel something, not just deliver lines But overall the film didn’t really make me feel anything as a whole Like, okay maybe the best thing about it is showing two different perspectives of the same moment but that feels kinda obvious cuz the age gap

@dwillfindher I related to Paul a lot trying to mask depression as his acting was very on point, and the purity of that lil girl who was just trying to have fun and capture every minute with her father.. the music choices and placement is amazing for example

@msnaxi it’s beautifully directed, visually soft and intimate, and Paul Mescal’s performance is insanely subtle but at the same time, i can feel like nothing is happening yk

@dwillfindher There are a lot of happy scenes as it was from her pov and dark ones where we can see her father struggling to keep himself alive, only if love was enough.. Idk it was a very personal experience to me and hit a nerve also the actors were really good
