@Robin_Pod Thursday’s defeat shows the importance of the loose forward #13. Not much is said of this position nowadays. Remember the great of ‘Knocker Norton’. Even David Hall. Too much emphasis on #6 and #7, as well as #1. Dean is not a #13. It’s a position that’s pivotal for a good team.

@JoePalmerUK @AppleyardJoseph Agreed. Something hasn’t been quite right from the beginning. King ‘asked’ to prove his worth by playing in the Sheffield game. Obviously pre-season didn’t go well for one reason or another.

@cunners4 Brilliant team. I remember making the long trip from Hull in that year, as a 13 year old with my dad, to watch Hull KR play you. Always a difficult trip to Naughton Park but we won! Good times.

From the original post, the logic is that they know the rules, keep count, and shouldn’t be told it’s the 5th tackle (so I (the ref) recommend you think about this)). 😂😂

@tom_hkr @RedRobinPodcast Why does a professional rugby league player need explanation of the rules ? Sick of hearing refs telling players they’re offside or not square at marker, implement the rules of game full stop .

@hullkrofficial Not a Phil Lowe but bags of potential. It takes a lot of effort to bring him down; a souped up Sam Wood. Leeds friendly showed what is there - a great tackler. He’ll get there. I remember people moaning about Gavin Miller in his first games! Good good signing; few tweaks needed.

@RedRobinPodcast Hmmm. I’d keep Mikey Lewis at fullback. Jez has enough skill and a good kicking game to keep the halves probing at the opposition. Coote gives us quick hands in the last 10m in the attack. Whilst Lewis doesn’t have that, he can give other types of problems in the last 20m.
