Hi guys, I just wanted to say this before I step away. I’ll be deactivating my account in about a week. X has been a complicated platform for me. I tried my best to ignore the negativity and the things I’d rather not see on my timeline every day, but honestly it’s been draining more than inspiring. On top of that, reaching people here has felt incredibly difficult… engagement is rough, and I suspect I might even be shadowbanned for reasons I don’t understand? I also realized that this platform just doesn’t suit how I express myself creatively. It leans heavily toward text and constant commentary, while I feel more comfortable simply sharing visual work without needing to frame everything in words (that mismatch made posting feel heavier than it should.) So I’m going to take a long break (maybe permanent, maybe not, who knows) until I feel more confident about sharing my art here again. 8 hours of intense anxiety, elevated cortisol, and barely moving, 5 days a week, every month and for a whole year (or maybe my whole life). Is that normal? Or are we living in some kind of speed-run to death simulation?
