@abou_rijal Novack's wording itself is definitely better than my summarization in that regard. It touches more on the absurd versus ordered framework. Maybe a better phrasing could be Marxist optimism around reconciling human estrangement from nature. 🤔

The only point on this list where I don't fall on the Marxist (or what is framed as Marxist) side is the point on alienation, since "alienation" on its own is a fairly generic term that can be applied to many circumstances beyond the alienation of civil society from the state

Their legacy inspired the 1917 Russian Revolution and continues to fuel the struggle for a just world. A major reason for the defeat of Paris Commune as Marx and Engels pointed out, was that the Commune had failed to carry out the dictatorship of the workers over the exploiters ruthlessly.
