@a_gullible_fwit @DanielAndrewsMP Just because they put people in ICU doesn’t mean their condition is life threatening it just means they need intensive care for example close and constant monitoring.

@DanielAndrewsMP Intensive care?? Some rib and vertebrae damage would not suggest 'Intensive care' would be required. Traction to minimise movement, likely. Closely monitored for a day or two, for sure checks for peripheral nerve damage/impingement What is 'life threatening' about these injuries?

Early this morning, I was admitted to hospital after slipping and falling on wet and slippery stairs. A CT scan has revealed several broken ribs and vertebrae damage, and subsequent medical advice has recommended I remain in intensive care for the next few days.
