Some Health X influencers before: “Peaters are retards, troublemakers. Sugar = diabetes. Progesterone is only for women and trannys. DHT causes prostate cancer and hair loss” Same influencers now: “I feel amazing on orange juice, coconut oil, thiamine, progesterone and DHT” And soon, they’ll adopt all of his ideas while quietly erasing the name behind it. You weren’t even around when he was already talking about what’s now trending (Thymus, PUFA toxicity, the Randle cycle, and how impaired glucose metabolism drives diabetes and cancer…) Time will reveal more ⏳

Did X open the Japan floodgates because Softbank is about to fuck the American people? It’s very possible.

Ray Peat Quotes

On coffee: "Speaking of coffee, that reminds me that a black coffee on an empty stomach gets into your circulation so fast that if you're on the borderline for stress the caffeine accelerates your burning of sugar and so it can bring on stress reaction if you don't accompany it with food or cream and sugar or something like that. And the coffee itself is one of the most powerful anti stress factors in the world. It has just about every protective function that you could imagine. For example, if you use it on the skin or have enough from internal use of coffee, the caffeine is powerfully, protecting against PUFA breakdown in the skin it clenches and blocks free radical damage. Is both anti inflammatory and antioxidative in the skin. Protects against skin cancer and keeps the liver functioning against all kinds of stressful factors. So coffee isn't just a stimulant drug but it's an extremely powerful protective factor." [Weight Loss For Women, episode 43]

@dylanjdigby @FingolCommunist @buckadeath You’re just projecting your own bald cope by fear mongering. Sexual side-effects are rare and reversible, to call it “chemical castration” is one hell of an exaggeration.

Algorithm-induced nightmare: Endless posturing, about positions already made clear, is more beneficial for clicks than new or more pressing issues. Sad!

@sovietsarah I think in both cases it’s been about keeping it separate from the party as means of building it up to stand on its own. Even in vol 1 of Governance, Xi mentions how good relations with, and even learning from religions, is beneficial. “Those that inspire the people”

And I should clarify my OP by saying "necessitates a rejection of religion for party members" just as Lenin says here. And as China follows too.

I will die on the hill that Marxism-Leninism necessitates a rejection of religion. Many will disagree, but history will absolve me and time will prove me right if it hasn't already. Exhibit A: Iran is cringe because they didnt have nukes because Islam forbade it.

Honestly, I’m disappointed that not a single person with influence in the political arena is talking about the First Brands bankruptcy scandal. One of the largest in history. Thousands of jobs at risk. Not a single person has given a fuck.

Ray Peat: > People have argued with [Chomsky] about the JFK assassination, U.S. policy in the Vietnam war, the HIV-AIDS issue, and the 9/11 investigation. > In each case, he accepts the official position of the government, and insults those who question, for example, the adequacy of the Warren Commission report, or who believe that the pharmaceutical industry would manipulate the evidence regarding AIDS, or who doubt the conclusions of the 9/11 Commission investigation. > He says that investigation of such issues is “diverting people from serious issues,” as if those aren’t serious issues. And “even if it’s true” that the government was involved in the 9/11 terrorism, “who cares?”
