It has to be a result of Harvey's destructive obsession, especially since it echoes Batman's own obsession. That's why I doubt it would be someone close to Harvey; he's going to confront Gotham's corrupt elite and lose everything in the process. Oz just make sense for me.

Making a #prediction that with Maroni gone, he’s gonna be the one to do the deed and turn Harvey into Two-Face somehow

Vince Gilligan on pitching the original concept for #Pluribus when execs were asking, “What’s next in the ‘Breaking Bad’ world?”: “We live in a world of IP, where the safest thing to do is reboot something that has an audience. I wanted to prove to myself I wasn’t a one-trick pony. It’s harder than it’s ever been to get something made that’s not based on a previous movie or comic book or video game. Every generation deserves its own stories, instead of just the stories of their grandparents.” wp.me/pc8uak-1lGwMi

Breaking Bad came back every year. Better call Saul came back every year. The Sopranos ran yearly. The Wire ran yearly. Your favorite sitcoms did 20 plus episodes a year for over a decade. When TV was allowed to exist before streaming disrupted it, this was the norm. Good TV, great TV even will always have staying power. It will always be relevant. TV is a yearly model for a reason. I respect John, to be clear, but yeah I don’t agree.

Complaints about the long gaps between seasons of STRANGER THINGS are so tired. I get it but there were strikes, a pandemic, and these things take time! Do you want disposable shows that come & go in an instant or shows that have staying power for a decade. Make up your mind!

Very serious when I say take Brad Pitt out of #F1TheMovie and make the film solely about Damson Idris being a rookie under pressure to bring his struggling team back from the brink and you've got a way better movie. Some good stuff for sure, but too much wasted potential.

can anyone find ONE article about the new Toyota Prius needing to make X dollars to break even, or the new iPhone, or how much product WalMart needs to clear this quarter to be profitable… seriously — why do people care about movies as a commercial product and nothing else
Variety@Variety

Paul Thomas Anderson and Leonardo DiCaprio's $130 million-plus #OneBattleAfterAnother will need to make at least $260 million to break even. A top source says the film was tested in at least three markets in recent months, and a consistent note came up: audiences struggled “to root for” any of the characters. DiCaprio has been praised for a “quirky” performance, according to the testing. A character played by Benicio del Toro scored highest of all, with one played by Sean Penn also indexing high. Anderson reportedly agreed to audience testing for “One Battle” given its high budget, the first time he’s done so since “Boogie Nights. On source said Anderson voluntarily trimmed between eight to 10 minutes from “One Battle” after early screening feedback. Read more here: variety.com/2025/film/news…
