@dylanrhysgrant @Morgan_will1999 They should’ve had a good idea of how difficult and/or feasible this would be before Matos was hired. They’ve set him up to fail, regardless of who exactly the blame lies with. Embarrassing from the club as a whole.

I can’t recall a more embarrassing situation than our failure to secure work permits for Matos’ coaching staff. Surely the club should’ve done its due diligence before making the hire? People can make excuses for the club but this is ridiculous. The job was already hard enough.

@Morgan_will1999 @scfcthomas In fairness I can’t imagine a DoF would be more in the know about work permits than Gorringe. I’d imagine in any football club this is taken care of by the legal department when negotiating contracts?
