One of the hardest things to do as a trader is to stay still. You feel like you always have to be in the market taking trades. Long term profitable traders don’t trade because they feel like it, they wait for when their criteria is there. If you can’t sit on your hands when it’s not, that’s what needs to be fixed first.

One of the fastest ways to turn a small red day into a big one is sitting in front of the screens all day trying to make it back. Close the charts. Reset. Come back tomorrow.

Red day to start the week. Kept it controlled and managed. Learning to lose well is one of the hardest parts of this. Once you do, everything changes.

You can be right on a trade and still lose money. Not because the idea was wrong, but because the trade wasn’t managed well. Exiting too early, rushing the stop, or overreacting to a normal pullback is how a profitable model turns into inconsistent results.

@tradewithkole . As your accounts grows, your fixed risk % grows as well. Scaling is easy, the first thing is to become consistent.
