@dylansanders_ is averaging 17.2 PPG in his last 5, where CSU-P is 5-0, including beating #13 Black Hills State and clinching an RMAC playoff spot. Leading by example. Great work my guy, keep rolling.

CSU Pueblo has been making an extremely convincing argument this last week that they are the best team in the RMAC, which includes their 80-69 statement win over UCCS on Tuesday night (5/10/26). The Thunderwolves’ showed why they have the best defense in the conference, as their stifling play held the conference’s #1 offense that was averaging 88.3 points per game to just 69 points, which is 19 points under their average. If you didn’t know, Dylan Sanders is a problem opposing teams need to figure out. Sanders is the type of player that is willing and able to do whatever the team needs. For example, last night against UCCS and last Thursday against BHSU, he dropped in 20 each game to lead Pueblo to two huge wins. Sanders, however, can also pull down boards, dish out assists, and always plays great defense. Ty Adam also had a huge game for the Thunderwolves, providing an emotional spark with his physical play and slam dunks. For the game, Adam had 14 points on 7 of 8 (87.5%) shooting from the field.
