When you call Straightship you will hear chickens in the background, they will advise your package was delivered and they hold no responsibility before they hang up on you. I am glad I don’t order from Temu because they seem to be the packages that are missing.

In the past week there’s been several parcels in my community that were supposedly delivered by Straightship but actually weren’t. It is believed the driver is tossing them as some were found in a ditch a few weeks ago or the driver is keeping them. ../2

@dymplzz Visited a couple locations in HRM, noticed they were playing Christmas music. Didn’t notice decorations, but wasn’t looking for or paying attention to if they had them or not. Seems like a rumour people are latching on to in the current political climate.

The Real Atlantic Superstore (Loblaws) will not be decorating their stores this year for Christmas. Apparently it’s offensive to some people. Don’t worry, you can still buy their Christmas Decor and overpriced Christmas candy at all locations.

My 18 yr old child has CP & lives at home. I quit my job to stay home with her. At age 18, I stopped receiving the monthly Child Disability Benefit. Apparently, she’s not eligible for any income supplement, nor am I. She can’t work, nor can I. Not sure where to go from here?

The provincial caregiving benefit is eligible to persons age 19 and older. The annual family income has to be $45,797 or less. The monthly benefit is $400. A referral and assessment process must be complete and then approved by NSHA.

@KittyAches I don’t believe she qualifies since she hasn’t contributed to CPP.

@liz_hallett My point is, these CEOs don’t give a shit, they love wasting $, they bow down to wealthy donors & they don’t support their own staff. Yet, they hire expensive firms to find candidates. I’ve witnessed it. I’m sorry the recruiter contacted you. They should know better.

@liz_hallett Obviously the recruiters don’t know who you are! Those female CEOs shouldn’t waste donors $$$ on recruitment firms because from my experience the selected candidates never stay & quit. But some of these foundations love wasting money while sucking up to wealthy prospects. 🤮
