@dynomunch You can draw a line between the two, yes. You can think of it as a ‘breaking point’ or whatever you want, but it isn’t the work’s fault either way. There was clearly already something wrong. If a pedo has a copy of Lolita or something, that doesn’t mean ban all Lolita copies.

@dynomunch You’re just trying to make up scenarios where it becomes wrong. If someone starts to think rape is okay, then that’s when it becomes wrong. However, that isn’t the fictional scenario’s fault. That’s on the person. It’s why you wouldn’t blame slenderman for the incident.
