@PeepsYGO I should clarify: I don't dislike the idea behind these point changes, but it's completely different than the current direction. This feels more like if you played 50 point genesys in the TCG because everything is inflated. I'd rather have 0 point format pushed than these changes

@PeepsYGO This really just feels like misunderstanding the philosophy of genesys format tbh. Like, actual vibe based point decisions There's other examples but I thought 5 point exosister Irene was really funny

I think it’s really interesting that the visceral reaction to anything happening in Yugioh, ever, is to immediately be extremely critical. A blanket increase of many cards, across the board, will lead to meaningful changes in game feel between the two formats.

@PeepsYGO We went through and read every single ragna card on stream and they just did not have a win condition. So either I try to support future plant, insect, and reptile decks (which barely exist in sealed, trust me) or ANY earth deck. Seemed obvious to me idk

Decided to do something new and check out comments on a Master Saga video. Hilarious experience. YouTube commenters will complain about anything - raking Doug over the coals for not going into the OBVIOUS best pack choice, and the deck they’re talking about is fucking Ragnaraika.

Calling it out like it is: one of my biggest misses. I thought this card was going to so good. E-tele-able card that summons an interesting tri-type combination from the hand, recurs itself back every turn, and threatens direct swings into boards. It just doest pan out-
