See this is my issue with the opinion that gender is *purely* a social construct. Yes the social aspect has a MASSIVE impact but if you reset me and locked me in a room with no outside contact I'd still look at my body and feel a disconnect to it. its not JUST social!!

@VoidinFlesh I feel like their personal distress is making them unable to see how being trans is for other people. Is it not exactly the same experience, but it’s the same concept, not identifying with your gender assigned at birth. I hope they find solace in their medical transition.

@VoidinFlesh Gender is a false concept, so why would you have "gender dysphoria"? Dysphoric over something not real? Dysphoria is based on your sex, something that is real by all metrics. If youre not disconnected from it you aren't trans because there is nothing incongruent there

I don't believe you need dysphoria to be trans because gender is a false concept and some people feel connected to a gender they weren't born as without feeling disconnected from their birth sex

I need my trans brothers and sisters to own their identities instead of denying their reality to pretend to be c1$ people. Trans men are inherently different from c1$ men as well as trans women are inherently different from c1$ women. It's called intersectionality
