I desperately need a new life but I am so overwhelmed

I think I would like a little break away from life currently

After almost 7 years on the bar I have officially been baptised by a keg 🙃

It’s so bittersweet seeing my friends happily getting their lives together while I am just simply existing at this point. Like I’m so happy for them and they deserve the absolute world but it really puts things in perspective and not in a fun way.

One of the waiters at work today praised me for being in my ‘unhinged era’

I had to give my info to one of my team for a reference, which means I now in fact HAVE to answer my phone whenever it rings. I am furiously anxious.

Doing that thing again where you question all your life decisions into a downward spiral, we love it 🙂

The hospitality industry is literally so toxic it’s hilarious. Chefs are essentially gods and will always get the most appreciation, which is baffling considering without servers and bartenders the cooks would also be pretty pointless 🤷🏼‍♀️

I love giving people homemade gifts because of the effort and love I put into but then there’s like 5% of me that worries they think it’s awful or cheap (even though it’s usually with other bought gifts) and then I kinda don’t wanna do it anymore

Was watering my sunflowers in the sink while I was having a shower and it was like a weird bonding moment (Side note: Did feel weird to be naked in front them like they could see me or something)

You would think being involved with too many toxic people I would know how to just remove myself from that but here we are

I literally got paid less than 24 hours ago and can already tell I am going to STRUGGLE this month 😭

So can Snapchat go ahead and delete the AI feature before I have to delete the app and miss out on seeing my friends social lives

The most annoying part about myself as someone who isn’t the most affectionate person & deals with their problems mostly on their own is that when I really need a hug I have no idea who to go to for comfort so I end up just sat there even more miserable bcos I feel alone lol

I no longer rely on my own memory to do stuff because I have the memory of a sieve so I’ve really started to utilise the ‘reminders’ app and it does actually help lol

I’m hilarious cos the only time I can kinda control my panic response to stuff is usually when I actually should be panicking

I really dont understand everyone’s amusement by the kind of shoes I wear at work - if I wanna wear chunky shoes bcos they’re cute and also semi practical (can reach the top shelves easier lol) then let me waste my money on a new pair every month after they fall apart
