We kicked off March Madness in our classroom today! 🏀📚 We read I Promise by LeBron James and talked about teamwork and perseverance, then practiced our skills with a fun CVC matching basketball game. Learning + fun = a slam dunk! 🙌

Our kindergarteners had a magical St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️✨ They wrote about what they would do if they found a pot of gold 🌈💰 and then got creative making colorful rainbows using Froot Loops and marshmallows. Such a sweet and imaginative day in our classroom! 💚

Our kindergarten kiddos showed kindness this week! 💙 They made special get-well cards for their classmate who had surgery to help brighten their day. @S5_Belleville

To celebrate the 100th Day of School, our kindergarteners created 100 cereal necklaces! 💯🥣 They practiced counting to 100, strengthened their eye-hand coordination, and showed incredible patience along the way. Learning + fun = the perfect combo! 🎉👏

Our kindergarteners teamed up with Mrs. Cook today to spread some love! 💕 They created special Valentine’s Day cards for the children in the pediatric unit at our local hospital. So proud of their kindness and big hearts! ❤️

Kindergarten scientists at work! 🐧🔬 We explored penguins by creating baby chicks with cotton balls to represent their “down” feathers and waxy, waterproof adult feathers—then sprayed water to test them! The result? Science magic ✨
