I've talked about the work we've been doing with @anduriltech on our clean-sheet hybrid, autonomous aircraft design, but I haven't been able to say much beyond that. Today, that aircraft was down-selected by the UK Ministry of Defence for Project NYX, the British Army's program to develop autonomous "loyal wingman" VTOL aircraft designed to operate alongside Apache helicopters. We opened our engineering hub in Bristol specifically to support this work and that UK aerospace talent is already helping accelerate the effort. I’m confident we have the right team building the right aircraft to deliver what the British Army needs. Can't wait to show the world what we've been working on.

When I went to my first event, I had one camera with a two-handle rig, two memory cards and two spare batteries. Then Paris 2025 happened and since then, it's all started growing.
After almost two years, we are here. Packed and ready to take off early morning.

If $JOBY starts commercial flights in both UK and UAE by the end of this calendar year (2026) and continues to move toward launch in USA for early 2027….

My impression:
Altough being in their pre-production phase @EveAirMobility presented at Farmborough like a very mature aerospace player (most likely because they are backed up be Embraer - the third biggest aerospace company in the world) and you could feel the aerospace environment around (almost clinically clean, precisely engineered), yet friendly and accommodating.
I can see Eve switching from the aerospace industrial presentation towards the wide public, I can feel the Joby vibes slowly emerging from Eve's PR game in the coming years!
