Today is #Imbolc , the midpoint between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. It is also #Candlemas , which in medieval England was considered the end of the Christmas season. And of course there's Groundhog Day and, for our friends who celebrate, National Tater Tot Day.

It's Friday! What are you reading this weekend?

We frequently have coffee with a local writer who is about to publish a collection of his work. Last visit, he brandished an ARC and announced, "My life in poetry!" It occurred to me that I could never do something similar, as "My life in limericks!" lacks a certain gravitas.

According to Marie Kondo, you shouldn't fold socks into a ball because they work hard and deserve to rest. By that logic, most bras deserve a poolside chair and a pitcher of margaritas.

I mentioned to my chiropractor today that I had the shingles. She quickly followed by asking me what sort of DESPAIR I am experiencing since she is certain that shingles is “an opportunistic virus brought on by deep despair.” 😳 Thoughts?!

I read this over the weekend (I own two copies, because I forgot that I'd preordered an ebook and bought a hardcover....) Entertaining characters and a well-crafted mystery. Read this series, but start at the beginning. #mystery
