Spent a bit of time optimizing it! Some stats: Now uses LOD+Actors so only 5000 verts a frame to update (4ms on my crusty 3.5ghz pc) 60fps flipbook for the materials costs ~10MB of textures Normal.Y->lerp color per vertex gives that glowy green tropical water effect #RobloxDev

Still incredible to me that an IP as big as Attack on Titan was willing to host a contest, sponsor $1.5M in funding, and give the license to the largest anime IP in the world to Roblox Devs who applied to the contest. Congrats @Twin_Atlas @BulkGames & Ambr x Moze! 🎉 Special shout out to my best friend @CreepySins for securing this for Bulk Games. He’s been on the platform for 10 years making all sorts of games from Area 47 to OTDS and Sky Wars. Up until January 2024 he was working as a Game Designer for a very large studio on Roblox until he got hit from their round of layoffs, which was very unexpected and disheartening. It was a difficult year of refocusing on his own games, building his team back up, and in the spring applying for this contest. Going from that to less than a year later single handedly landing one of the largest IPs in the world shows his resilience. Huge congrats bro 🔥
