I am proud to announce I have received the endorsement of @nylcv! I am a lifelong environmentalist, a member of the Quassaick Creek Watershed Association, and the Hudson River Valley Greenway Council. The preservation of the Hudson’s natural beauty will always be my top priority.

I’m proud to announce that the Hudson Valley Area Labor Federation has given their endorsement to my Assembly campaign. HVALF has done outstanding work in communications and organizing for working-class families across the Hudson, ensuring our residents get paid their fair share.

I bring a unique perspective to Albany as one of the few elected officials with classroom experience, and I will always speak up for our teachers and education system as long as I’m in the legislature.

As a teacher for 40 years, I am especially proud to have received the endorsement of @NYSUT for my reelection efforts. In just two years, I’ve passed a major bill to combat extreme heat in schools, brought in record funding for our schools, and fought to expand free school meals.

They are dedicated to raising the standard of living of nurses to the level they should be entitled to. I will continue to fight for the empowerment of our invaluable nurses across New York.

Nurses are the lifeblood of our community that provide among the most essential forms of labor - even if it’s not always an easy job. It’s for that reason I am overjoyed to announce my campaign has been endorsed by @nynurses, a union of over 40,000 nurses statewide.

By fighting for worker benefits, pay, and stable job security unions protected my rights as a hard-working citizen and made sure I was able to support my family. Now, as a lawmaker, I’ll fight to support and uplift our unions to ensure the American Dream is available for all.

Thank you to the @NYSAFLCIO for extending their endorsement to my campaign. As a union member for 38 years, I know firsthand the critical role strong unions play for everyday Americans.

I am proud to announce I have received the endorsement of LiUNA-NY, the workers’ union composed of @NYSLaborersPAC and @MTDCPAC1. Union workers built our state, and it’s only right they get a fair share. I’ll keep fighting for better working and middle-class jobs in industry.

Last week, I spoke to seniors at Monroe-Woodbury High School about the role of our state government, and why it’s so important for people of all backgrounds to get involved in politics. Thank you to Mr. Verboys and the MWHS Youth and Government club for hosting!

Thank you to those who joined me at my most recent science program at the Cornwall Public Library this week. The kids had a fun, enriching experience learning about energy - as a former teacher myself, I’m always happy when I see kids eager to learn about science and the world.

If you want to learn more about what my office can do for you, hear what’s been passed this year in the State Government, or just pop in and share your thoughts, this is a great chance to do so! I look forward to bringing this interactive session to more locations soon.

This project took off because of the dedication and support of many groups coming together. I’d like to thank our two volunteer groups ASEZ WAO and Cornwall Cleanup Crew for their hard work, the NYS DEC for procuring the saplings, and the Highlands Nature Museum for staging.

The Hudson Valley is a beautiful place. I’ve known it all my life, and I want nothing more than to preserve its natural wonder. That’s why I was proud to organize and join dozens of volunteers to plant 100 saplings recently at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum.

At the Woodbury Library in Central Valley, I had the chance to talk with kids about physics and solar power. As a teacher of 40 years, this subject is very dear to me. It’s a treat for the kids too, because they all went home with working model solar cars they made themselves!
